The Site - Party Tent, Marquee, Yurt and Equipment
The Hirer must confirm:

  1. The site is clear of services to a depth of 1M of Gas, Electricity, Water and drainage pipes - any damage caused if present will be the responsibility of the Hirer.
  2. There is easy access to the site from the delivery vehicle.
  3. The distance between vehicular parking and the installation site is no more than 75m and is a level, clear path. 
  4. The final position for the Party Tent, Marquee or Yurt to be erected on the site visit or at the time the Party Tent, Marquee or Yurt is installed.
  5. The Party Tent, Marquee, Yurt or any equipment will not be moved without prior consent.
  6. Diesel heaters will be kept in a secure environment if left unattended.
  7. Children will not be left unsupervised near diesel heaters or Yurt wood burners.
  8. Any concerns or shortages with the Party Tent, Marquee, Yurt or equipment must be raised at the time of installation.
  9. Responsibility for all equipment for the period of the Hire from when the Party Tent, Marquee, Yurt is erected to when it is dismantled.
  10. The site will be clear of all obstacles on the day of installation.
  11. The site will be clear of people and animals during installation.
  12. All possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the equipment including climbing or hanging from the framework of the marquee. 
  13. No BBQ's or gas patio heaters will be used inside the marquee.
  14. BBQ's must be set up a safe distance from the Party Tent, Marquee or Yurt to avoid any damage to the canopy or wall/window panels. All parts damaged will need to be paid for in full.
  15. No silly string will be used in or around the Party Tent, Marquee or Yurt. All parts damaged by silly string will need to be paid for in full.
  16. That any build up of pooled rain or snow is removed from the canopy.
  17. Compliance with the UK no smoking laws.

Free Delivery

  1. Delivery is free within 20 Miles of Ipswich, Suffolk  and Chelmsford. This will cover - Most of Suffolk and Essex.
  2. Delivery over 20 miles from Ipswich or Chelmsford will be charged at 50p per mile over 20 miles for both journeys to erect and dismantle the Party Tent, Marquee or Yurt. Only mileage in excess of 20 miles from Ipswich or Chelmsford will be chargeable. (e.g. 50 Miles from Ipswich or Chelmsford = 4 x 30, 120 chargeable miles at 50p total cost only £60)

Insurance damage waiver 5% of total Hire cost of Party Tent, Marquee and all equipment (*Not applicable to Yurt Hire and is not charged. Any damage is the responsibility of the hirer and must be paid for in full.)

  1. Damage waiver includes Party Tent, Marquee and all equipment* supplied by rentapartytent.co.uk. In the event of accidental damage the Party Tent, Marquee and all equipment* are totally covered. There is no excess for the hirer to pay. (Others charge an excess of anything up to £500) Payment of a 5% damage waiver will cover insurance of all the equipment hired excluding the following.
a. Theft or Vandalism not immediately reported to the police.
b. Theft of diesel heater if left unsecured when unattended.
c. Deliberate damaged caused during hire period by the hirer or party guests.
d. Damaged caused to our Party Tents, Marquees or Yurts by equipment supplied by hirer or a third party.
e. Damage to any personal property or any equipment not supplied by rentapartytent.co.uk.
f. Any damage caused by the Hirer or guests moving the party tent, Marquee, Yurt or any equipment during the hire period.
g.Any specific exceptions noted in the Terms & Conditions.

Deposit & Payment
  1. A 20% (Min £40) deposit will be required to secure your booking.
  2. The balance will be required on the day of installation once your Marquee, Party Tent, Yurt and equipment has been installed to your satisfaction.
  3. If the hirer is not present on the day of installation full payment must be made prior to installation.
Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation rates apply:
  1. 100% of the deposit is chargeable for notice less than 7 days.*
  2. 50% of the deposit is chargeable for notice more than 7 days but less than 30 days.*
  3. Deposit is fully refundable if more than 30 days notice is given.*

             * All refunds are subject to a £40.00 admin fee.

Force Majeure

An event that Rent A Party Tent or the hirer could not anticipate or which if anticipated is too strong to be considered, abnormal and unforseeable circumstances so that the consequences could not have been avoided through the exercise of all due care.
  1. We like to install your Marquee, Party Tent or Yurt as early as possible prior to your event in case of high winds or extreme weather conditions in order to have alternative back up installaton opportunities.
  2. In the case of Force Majeure the hire will be given a full refund.
